12 months RAA Student Licence and Membership $160 (includes monthly full Colour RAA. Magazine)

AIRCRAFT & INSTRUCTOR
Learn to Fly $180 total cost per hour aircraft time.
A full flying lesson takes approx. 1.5 to 2 hours including personal 1 on 1 instruction in the air and on the ground with pre-flight and after flight briefings. You only pay for the time in the aircraft, ground briefings are FREE!
FLYING HOURS REQUIRED
Minimum 20 HRS. flight training In RAA. is required (including 5 HRS. Solo)
However it will probably take longer to get your flying licence, 30 HRS or more.
DEPENDING on how often you fly, your aptitude, dedication and previous flying experience.
PLUS your ability to study the Training Manuals and PASS your WRITTEN EXAMS.
MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
Same as for a motor vehicle drivers Licence.
AGE LIMITS: GUYS, GIRLS, MEN, WOMEN, FLYING IS FOR EVERYONE
From age 15 years, no maximum age limit, provided you meet the medical requirements.
RECREATIONAL FLYING IS FOR FUN!
CAN YOU CONVERT FROM GA. or GFA. TO RAA.
YES. After flight records are checked by an instructor a flight test and 5hrs flying in an RAA. approved training aircraft (inc. a Minimum 1hr. solo) this can be done at minimal cost to an experienced pilot.
